BEEYOND EXPECTATION
Beehive has been distilled from a meticulous selection of the finest grapes, carefully matured in oak barrels and then blended to perfection. This unique savoir-faire makes Beehive an exceptional brandy with intense flavours and aromas.
CREATED BY PIONEERS
Beehive’s beginnings lie rooted in the bold aspiration of two French pioneers, Gustave Curcier, and Edouard Adet, who left Bordeaux for the promise of prosperity in Australia in the early 1850s. Joining the thousands of immigrants then pouring into Victoria following the discovery of gold, they chartered a ship, loaded it with Bordeaux products - mainly brandy - and set sail for a new life in 1852. Beehive was born.

A UNIQUE IDENTITY
LA RUCHE, the French word for beehive, was the product’s original name.
As Beehive’s reputation spread, it became difficult to pronounce in some countries. Inspired by the vivid illustration on the label, people just called it BEEHIVE. Pleasant and easy to say, the nickname was embraced as the official name. Proud of its unique identity, Beehive adopted a beautifully sculpted bottle taking inspiration from the shape of a natural beehive, and giving hint to the premium product within.
